The daily reality

It's 5.30pm. Homework isn't done, dinner needs making, and your child is refusing to even look at the maths sheet. Or it's 7am and getting out of the door on time feels like a battle you have every single day. You already know ADHD is part of this. You've read the articles and tried the strategies. None of that tells you what to actually do in the next two minutes.

You've done the reading. You understand executive function, you know the words for what's going on underneath the behaviour, and some days that knowledge helps. Other days you're standing in the kitchen with your child upset and every strategy you know has gone.

That's not because you haven't learned enough. General ADHD information can only take you so far, because your child's pattern is specific to them: what sets things off, what actually helps, what makes things worse. A plan built around your own child, for the exact thing happening today, can go further than one more general checklist.

Is this right for you?

Built for the parents who need it most

This is for you if

  • ✓ Your child is aged 5 to 17, has an ADHD diagnosis, or you strongly suspect ADHD, and you want practical help this week, not just more to read.
  • ✓ You want a plan built around your own child, not a generic list of tips.
  • ✓ You want something for home and something you can hand to school as well.

This isn't for you if

  • × You're looking for a diagnosis or a clinical assessment. This tool doesn't provide one.
  • × Your child is having a mental health crisis. Please contact your doctor or a crisis service instead.
  • × You want ongoing one-to-one clinical support. My clinic, Everlief Child Psychology, may be a better fit for you.

Why this works

I've been a child clinical psychologist for over 20 years. I'm also Clinical Director of my clinic, Everlief Child Psychology, which I founded with my husband Mike in 2012. We now have a team of over 30 clinicians and have supported more than 5,000 families, a good number of them raising children with ADHD.

Everything in this tool comes from that clinical experience, translated into the kind of specific, practical plan I'd want if I were the one standing in the kitchen at 5.30pm, not sure what to do next.

Ready to get a plan built around your child?

Get My Child's Action Plan
Introducing

Your Child's ADHD Action Plan

This is an online tool you access with a simple login. There's nothing extra to install, and you can use it on your phone, tablet or computer, whichever's easiest at the time.

You start by building a short profile of your child: their name, their age, a few things they're good at, and a few things that are hard for them. From that one profile, the tool gives you a personalised plan for whatever's happening today, and, for the struggles it's useful to share, a one-page summary you can print for school.

How it works

One profile. A plan every time you need one.

1

Build your child's profile

Their name, age, strengths and what's hard right now. Takes about two minutes.

2

Pick what's happening today

Meltdowns, homework, mornings, sleep, whatever it is right now, choose it from the list.

3

Get your plan and script

A plain-English explanation, a script for right now, and things to try next time.

Come back as often as you need. New struggle, new plan. New child, new profile. Same £17.

What's included

A plan made only for your child

1

A profile built around your child

Their name, age, strengths and the things that are hard right now. Everything else is built from this one profile.

2

A plan for the ADHD struggles families face most

  • Meltdowns and emotional outbursts
  • Homework battles
  • Morning battles
  • Getting started on other tasks
  • Transitions
  • Sleep struggles
  • Friendships
  • Screen time battles
  • Sibling conflict
  • Anxiety and worry
  • Organisation and belongings
  • Frustration and disappointment

New struggles are added regularly.

3

What's likely going on, and why

For whatever's happening today, a plain-English explanation of what's probably driving it, so you understand your child's behaviour, not just how to respond to it.

4

A script and things to try tonight

Specific words to use in the moment, concrete things to try next time, and what to avoid, built around your child's own profile rather than a generic list.

5

A one-page profile for school, when it helps

For the struggles it's actually worth sharing, a printable summary of your child's strengths, what's hard, and what helps, ready to hand to a class teacher or SENCO. Not every struggle needs this, so it only appears where it's relevant.

6

Use it again, and for more than one child

Come back whenever something changes, or reset the profile to build a plan for a sibling. One purchase, used as many times as you need it.

Not just a one-off

Built to come back to, again and again

1

A new struggle tomorrow

Bedtime battles this week, friendship worries next month. Come back and get a fresh plan for whatever's happening then.

2

A different child

Reset the profile and build a plan for a sibling. One purchase covers your whole family.

3

As things change

Update your child's profile any time their strengths or struggles shift, and get a plan that keeps up.

Your family's information stays with you

Everything you enter, your child's name, age, strengths and difficulties, is stored locally in your own browser. We don't collect it, see it, or store it on any server.

That also means if you clear your browser's cache or switch to a different device, the profile won't be there and you'll need to build it again, so it's worth saving or printing your plan and school profile if you want to keep a copy.

You might be wondering

Questions parents ask

Is this a diagnosis or a clinical report?

No. It's an information and planning tool for parents, built from Dr Lucy Russell and her team's clinical experience. It doesn't replace an assessment, a diagnosis, or advice from a professional who knows your child.

Is this AI?

No. This was built from my own clinical knowledge and experience, and my team's, not generated by AI.

My child's ADHD doesn't look like the "typical" case. Will this still work?

The plan is built around what you tell it about your own child, not a generic profile. It's also suitable for children who are AuDHD or autistic as well as ADHD, though it's written specifically with ADHD in mind.

What if none of the situations listed match what's happening?

The list covers the ADHD struggles that come up most often day to day. If your exact situation isn't in there yet, more are being added over time. Email me at [email protected] and let me know what's missing.

What age is this for?

This is built for parents of children aged 5 to 17. It isn't suitable for children under 5.

Can I use it for more than one child?

Yes. Reset the profile at the start to build a plan for a different child, and come back and do this as many times as you need.

Do you store any of my child's information?

No. Your child's profile is stored locally in your own browser, not on our servers. We never see or store what you enter. Bear in mind this also means that if you clear your browser's cache or switch to a new device, you'll need to rebuild the profile from scratch, so save or print your plan and school profile if you'd like to keep a copy.

Do I need to make an account or install anything?

You'll need to log in to your account on our course platform to use it, there's nothing separate to install. You can access it from your phone, tablet or computer, whichever's easiest.

How much time does this take?

Building the profile takes a couple of minutes, and getting a plan for what's happening today takes a couple more. You can come back and do it again in under five minutes each time.

What's your refund policy?

All sales are final, since you get instant access to the tool as soon as you buy. If you have any questions or run into any problems, I'm happy to help.
